During the day you will learn about the the glaciers and how they have shaped the landscape of our country through thousands of years. Depending on the conditions we seek to explore formations like crevasses, icy towers and tunnels.

This tour suits most people since we have opportunity to customize the length, and level of difficulty. We support you with the necessary glacier equipment, and you just need to bring your personal equipment.
The tour starts from Krossbu Turiststation, 47km west of Lom. We either meet at the Norwegian Mountaincenter in Lom or directly at Krossbu, depending on what´s best for the group.
Kids on the glacier
We have brought many 6 year olds who love exploring the glacier. The tour is normally 6km, which makes it possible to experience with the whole family. Anyway, we do not recommend to bring the kids too early for an experience like this, considering their motivation and that they understand what they are up to. If you wait until the kids are ready, they will have surplus along the way and be able to appreciate the experience.
